Conclusion on the results of the evaluation of the Innovative disinfectant
“HB Solution” in the research laboratory of integrative medicine

The Research Laboratory of Integrative Medicine at the International University of Fundamental Learning (TARPTAUTINIS FUNDAMENTALIŲ STUDIJŲ UNIVERSITETAS) Vilnius, Lithuania analysed the effectiveness, harmlessness to humans and animals, hypoallergenicity of the innovative disinfectant “HB Solution” – a solution that opens new horizons in the philosophy of use, ways of use and methods of application of new generation disinfectants.
The innovative disinfectant “HB Solution” comes from the developer ELOX GmbH, Austria.
The author of the discovery is Dr Martin Klugmayer.
Discovery – innovative disinfectant “HB Solution” refers to the field of biotechnology, namely to preparations with disinfectant properties, promising for combating bacterial and fungal lesions. The author presents the agent as a preparation for disinfection, which includes components based on chlornovatous acid, hydrogen peroxide, anions and ions of oxygen, ozone, active chlorine radicals.
Modern disinfection is designed to prevent and stop the development of many infections. It is a series of measures that are carried out in order to destroy the infectious agent and destroy toxins on the objects of the environment. This significantly reduces the number of microorganisms to an acceptable level, although incomplete destruction is possible.
According to statistics, the efficiency of classical disinfection measures is between 16-50 %, but in some cases can reach 95 % [1]. Disinfection has a greater impact on the viability of vegetative forms of bacteria rather than resistant ones. Based on the above, it is obvious that it is necessary to develop new highly effective methods of controlling pathogens and viruses that are involved in their dissemination. This material is devoted to the description of new methods and approaches in disinfection, as well as modern trends that may soon radically affect the planning and implementation of disinfection measures.
The activity and effectiveness of “HB Solution” was assessed in order to determine whether it has antimicrobial, insecticidal, acaricidal, rodenticidal, repellent action, as well as effective modes (concentration, rate of consumption, exposure time), methods and methods of application, which achieve the corresponding action.
Safety assessment of disinfectants is carried out in order to establish the optimal conditions for the use of disinfectants in which the disinfectant, its components, or the effects arising from its use do not have a harmful effect on humans, treated objects and the environment.
Evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of disinfectants was carried out after chemical-analytical studies that confirmed the compliance of the sample composition with the stated in the formulation.
Only the most resistant microorganisms, the most important safety indicators and disinfection objects were used in the evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of the innovative disinfectant “HB Solution”, which have the same amount of the same active substances compared to the previously studied means.
The study verified the compliance of “HB Solution” with the requirements of the European Union standards for disinfectants:
EN 13727:2019 (EN 13727:2012 + A2:2015, IDT)
EN 14476:2018 (EN 14476:2013 + A1:2015, IDT)
EN 1499:2018 (EN 1499:2013, IDT)
EN 14885:2019 (EN 14885:2018, IDT)
EN 1500:2018 (EN 1500:2013, IDT)
EN 12791:2019 (EN 12791:2016 + A1:2017, IDT)
No deviations from the requirements of the regulatory documents have been identified.
The bactericidal or antiviral action of the product – innovative disinfectant “HB Solution” – is based on the idea that the human body, determining the presence of pathological objects on its surface, itself produces a number of components that are included in the formulation of “HB Solution”, although in much smaller quantities. As a result, the body would be unable to resist these pathological influences – and mankind has not yet become extinct only thanks to the ability to resist pathological agents by oxidising them on its own.
Based on this original observation, the present discovery was mainly aimed at proposing a disinfectant containing hypochlorous acid in equilibrium with sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, active radicals, ions and anions, allowing the creation of an effective disinfectant based on compounds that are a source of active chlorine in lower concentration than hypochlorites and hydrogen peroxide, which was the main objective.
